Shihan Jim Allen (7th Dan)
I have been a member of the World Jujitsu Federation since 1993 and have had the pleasure of training under So-Shin David Toney (9th Dan) who heads the World Jujitsu Federation in Ireland.
Since my first class I was intrigued by the simplicity of how easily so little leverage could move someone much larger, taller and stronger than myself.
I hope that I can give others every opportunity that I have received from the World Jujitsu Federation Ireland to enjoy the benefits of membership within a very friendly association.

Sensei Alex Purdy (4th degree black belt, Senior technical officer)
I have been training with World Jujitsu Federation since 2009 and have been honoured to train with Shihan Allen 7th Dan who has pushed me to improve with every class.
I enjoy teaching as it allows me the chance to share the knowledge I have been given with others and I hope they can take as much pleasure from jujitsu as I have.

After being inspired by and trained by Shihan Jim Allen, I returned to jujitsu in 2007 and continued my journey to my now 3rd Dan belt , I am very proud to be part of jujitsu Ireland and am dedicated in working towards my 4th Dan belt ..I take great pleasure in inspiring the younger generation and will continue to do so in my role as a Sensei instructor.

My Jujitsu journey started 12 years ago at the age of 38 after watching my twin boys achieve their first belt .
As a child I was the one who couldn’t do cartwheels, handstands or backflips .So the first night I stepped on the mats I had no real expectations but just hoped I would survive the 1 1/2 hours of training .Well I did !!!!
I am now a 3rd Dan Technical officer club coach , training hard for my 4th Dan!!!
If I can do it anyone can.

I started Ju-jitsu training fourteen years ago and I have been fortunate that Shihan Jim Allen has been my Sensei throughout this time. During this time Shihan Allen has been a constant support and guide and has challenged me to improve.
I particularly enjoy helping other students to learn as this improves both their skills, knowledge and technique as well as my own.
Through the Ju-jitsu Association I have also made many very good friends who have also help guide me through my journey.
